In the global wholesale trade arena, regardless of the industry, price and delivery time are the foundation of cooperation. However, a data-driven, stable, and controllable quality system is a core, hard indicator for large importers and chain brands when selecting long-term suppliers. According to industry foreign trade statistics, approximately 35% of after-sales disputes in export orders from small and medium-sized workshops stem from controllable quality issues such as batch color differences, size errors, substandard safety indicators, and missing testing data. To completely avoid these industry-wide problems, Hebei Kelaisi has established a three-tiered quality control system at its two major production bases in Xinle and Ningjin. This system features fixed positions for all employees, quantified standards, full process traceability, and verifiable data. Clear digital standards regulate every production and inspection step, strictly controlling product quality from the source.


Unlike ordinary factories that rely solely on manual experience for final sampling inspections, our quality control team implements a three-tiered, closed-loop quality control mechanism covering the entire chain from raw material intake to production and finished product shipment. The two factories are staffed with 12 full-time professional quality inspectors and 3 specialized laboratory testing teams. All inspection processes adhere to standardized quantitative criteria, fixed sampling frequencies, and dedicated personnel. Complete testing data and image archives are maintained for each batch of products, ensuring 100% batch traceability and completely eliminating the loopholes of traditional, vague, and experience-based quality inspections.

Raw material inspection is the first core line of defense in quality control. All production raw materials undergo 100% random sampling upon warehousing, and key raw materials undergo full inspection. For core materials such as paraffin wax, candle wicks, food-grade fragrances, environmentally friendly pigments, party paper, and water-based printing inks, eight core indicators are regularly tested, including raw material melting point, impurity content, moisture content, combustion stability, heavy metal content, allergenic components, environmental VOC indicators, and color reproduction. Candle fragrances are strictly tested according to IFRA 51 standards to eliminate excessive allergens; party paper products undergo full verification to meet EU CE food-grade contact safety standards. Raw materials must achieve a 100% pass rate before being put into storage. From 2025 to 2026, the two factories rejected 27 batches of substandard raw materials, eliminating defective products at the source and fundamentally reducing the risk to finished product quality.


A high-frequency online inspection system is implemented throughout the entire production process to thoroughly control process quality. Each production line in the Ningjin and Xinle production workshops is equipped with a dedicated quality inspector. During mass production, high-frequency sampling is conducted every 30 minutes, with no fewer than 50 samples randomly selected per inspection. The focus is on verifying 12 appearance and process standards, including product dimensional tolerances (strictly controlled within ±0.2mm), batch color difference (using a unified Pantone color chart), surface flatness, edge trimming, and wick verticality. For high-end OEM orders with customized logos, exclusive color schemes, or irregular shapes, an additional double inspection process is added, strictly adhering to the customer's confirmed original sample to ensure zero deviation. Once an anomaly is detected during random inspection, production is immediately halted for investigation, and the products manufactured within the previous 30 minutes are simultaneously reviewed to prevent the accumulation of large quantities of defective products. A 100% closed-loop rate for handling anomalies throughout the production process is maintained throughout the year.


Finished product batch sampling is the ultimate quality assurance before shipment. All export orders strictly adhere to tiered sampling standards: the sampling rate for full container orders is no less than 3%, and for small-batch customized orders, the sampling rate is increased to 8%. Candles undergo mandatory full-scale combustion tests, uniformly testing five core indicators: flame height, burning time, smoke emission, flameout stability, and no dripping pollution, fully complying with EU EN15493 and US ASTM F2417 international safety standards. Party paper cutlery and decorative sets are tested primarily for cutting accuracy, printing clarity, waterproof toughness, and packaging sturdiness. Before each batch is shipped, three standard samples and a complete test report must be retained, archived for at least 24 months, to meet the traceability and market supervision needs of overseas customers.

In addition to standardized inspection procedures, the quality inspection team has a comprehensive daily quantitative management system. A 15-minute quality control morning meeting is held daily to review the quality data of the previous batch of orders and clarify the key points of quality control for the day. Monthly quality control skills assessments for all employees and comprehensive equipment calibration are conducted to ensure that the error of testing instruments is controlled within ±0.01, ensuring accurate data. For high-standard orders from Europe and the United States, a separate quality control log has been established, with five additional enhanced testing items added. As of June 2026, the company's annual export order batch pass rate was 99.8%, the overseas customer quality complaint rate was less than 0.1%, and zero full container returns and zero customs detentions were achieved.


Our quality control system dynamically standardizes and adapts to import regulations in different regions globally. For orders exported to the EU, we strictly adhere to IFRA51 fragrance control standards, EN15493 candle safety standards, and CLP labeling compliance requirements; for orders exported to North America, we fully comply with ASTM combustion safety regulations and Canadian CCPSA consumer product safety regulations; for orders exported to Southeast Asia, we strengthen product durability and packaging damage prevention testing.
